I am not familiar with DocBook XML at all - would it be possible to have a short tutorial on the very basics written? I found the book somewhat intimidating...
Also, do you think that it would be possible to divorce the writing of the content from the DocBook markup? That is, have people write docs, and have other people (possibly the same) mark them up to DocBook?
Cheers, Dave.
I'll setup a little introduction for Docbook XML. It isn't that hard to learn and understand. I think it is possible to divorce the writing content from DocBook markup, but it depends on the quality of contributed content and the amount. For now, I suppose that everyone can write Docs (okey... we should setup some pages for contributing) on the wiki. I'll continue writing in XML and looking forward to markup the contributions.
Greetings, Roman
Seems gnome.org has changed from CVS to SVN, thus the login step-by-step on the translationpages doesn't work. I don't know how to login to SVN so I cannot fix this myself.
